Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding for Malaysia Sarawak Steel Complex Project
马来西亚沙捞越州钢铁工业园项目预可研签署合作备忘录

8月27日下午，河北新武安钢铁集团有限公司、马来西亚沙捞越州政府及中冶海外工程有限公司在邯郸市签署了马来西亚投资建设钢铁工业园项目预可研工作的合作备忘录。中冶集团副总裁张孟星，马来西亚沙捞越州工业、企业发展部部长阿玛哈吉及邯郸市市长王会勇等出席签约仪式；中冶海外工程有限公司董事长邹维民，副总经理陈昌安、杨若冰，中冶京诚工程技术有限公司董事长施设等同时参加上述活动。
On 27^th August, Hebei Xinwu’an Steel Group, Malaysia Sarawak State Government, and MCC Overseas Ltd signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Prefeasibility Study Report Project of Sarawak integrated steel plant in Handan City. Mr. Zhang Mengxing, Vice President of MCC, Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Honorable Second Minister for Resources Planning and Environment and Mr. Wang HuiYong, Mayor of Handan City attended the signing ceremony. Also present at the MOU were Mr. Zou WeiMin, President of MCC Overseas Ltd, Mr. Chen Changan VP of MCC Overseas Ltd and Mr. Yang Ruobing, Vice President of MCC Overseas Ltd, Mr. Shi She, President of MCC CERI.

该项目计划在马来西亚分三期建设一座年产500万吨钢、300万吨水泥、200万吨焦化、100万吨冷轧、100万吨焊管的资源综合利用型钢铁企业。
The Project plans to construct one resource comprehensive utilized steel making complex comprises 5MTPA steel plant, 3MTPA cement plant, 2MTPA coke oven plant, 1MTPA cold rolling plant, 1MPTA welded pipe plant in three phases.

MCC Overseas Ltd will endeavour its self-advantage to push forward the development and construction of the project, to fulfil the “Going Out” and “One Belt and One Road” national strategic initiative.
